This excerpt pretty accurately de-masks what much of the Christian music scene is and isn’t, and is pretty insightful, I think, into the disconnect between what is truth and what is entertainment and the struggle in the church to espouse the latter without watering down the former. The article makes for a pretty good read and a pretty good criticism of evangelical church culture in regards to music.

The hypocrisy of your festivals
I hate all your show

Good stuff. And worth a listen. And personally, still think Switchfoot is a great band.
